****CAUTION: POSSIBLE SPOILER****
This takes place in an alternate version of the story in which Asuma doesn't die. I've also included my possible idea of Kana getting a byakugan.
I was inspired to draw this on the plane back from England while listening to 'One Family' from the soundtrack to Tarzan. I thought about how Shikamaru is practically part of the family, and Kana gets to be included too. of course, it I was being thorough I'd have to include the rest of team 10, Shikamaru's parents, team 8, and really practically everyone in Konoha. The village is like one big extended family.
I like drawing pictures where everyone is happy. Rather different from the dark stuff I was turning out in 7th grade, isn't it?
