Let My Tears Be a Gift

The result of one day near the end of summer. I'd gone to a boating area with family and friends, but some stupid rules that allowed large motorboats but not our little sailboat made us leave. In addition, for the past couple days and while we were there I was working on my summer assignment reading Rachel Carson's 'Silent Spring'. I just sort of broke down, and wished my tears could in some way help heal our abused planet.
